A: When you purchase, you will receive a link to a ZIP file that contains your customized presentation. You will download the ZIP file and extract the files. You can then burn the files to a CD, or upload the files to your personal webspace for an immediate resume-on-the-net experience. No alterations or edits need to be made -- the files are ready to burn or upload as you get them from us.

Q: When I preview my presentation some sections come up short. Text is missing. What's with that?

A: You're probably using special characters in there somewhere. For example, if you use an apersand (&) or a plus sign (+), the resume presentation will stop outputting text at the point where it encounters the character. Everything after that will ignored. have a look through and take those special characters out and the sections should display properly.

Also - you shouldn't copy and paste directly from Word. Word will insert all sorts of special hidden characters into the text box that will, again, stop the display of text. Better to paste your Word text into a program like notepad, which is text only, and will strip out all extraneous characters, leaving you with only plain text. Once done, copy from there, into your resume window.

If the formatting started to look not as you intended, clear the field completely and save the resume with nothing in it (making sure to save your contents to a text file on your computer). Then re-edit the resume with only the content you want. As mentioned above, you need to keep the content simple and avoid special characters.

Q: Can the data be changed or updated after purchase?

A: Yes. You can return to our clients-only update area at any time after your purchase and make changes to your information and download the updates immediately at no cost.

Q: Can I edit the data offline after purchase?

A: Yes. If you don't want to edit your data offline and are familiar with very basic HTML, you can edit the HTML supporting files that come with your flash resume. The flash resume draws its data from these supporting files, so any change made to them will be reflected in the presentation immediately.

Q: Can I print out a CD-based resume?
